Lin Schmale is one of SAF’s senior directors of government relations.  Lin’s expertise lies primarily in agricultural issues – EPA, USDA, pests and diseases, quarantines, water, insurance, customs.  She truly knows her way around the federal bureaucracy.  Before coming to SAF 14 years ago she worked on the Hill for a congressman and was a political appointee at the Department of the Interior.
